Creative Projects and Inspriation
As an Advertising and Public Relations student, I constantly have creative ideas flowing through my head. When I find time between work and school, I work on these projects to help hone my skills in photography, videography and even guerrilla marketing.
Film Photography
In order to sharpen my photography skills, I have set out each Saturday home game with an old Olympus OM-1 film camera. When shooting with film, there is much more of a challenge to get the lighting, focus, and composition correct on the first try. Shooting with film has taught me how to spend more time taking the photo, and less time in post-production. My favorite part about shooting with film is the warm, soft colors that come straight out of the camera - none of these photos have been retouched.

snapchat experiment
As an experiment in viral marketing, I purchases several Snapchat filters for the North Bottoms Neighborhood in Lincoln on home game days, to see what kind of response and use I would see. After creating three unique filters, I received over 600k views and 1.4k uses.
